The NCTC of the SCTE is eager to have you join us in Fort Worth, Texas, August 25-26, 2010 for the 7th Annual Vendor Day and Golf Tournament.

The chosen site for 2010 is the Dallas/Fort Worth Marriott Hotel & Golf Club at Champions Circle in Fort Worth, TX which is conveniently located just minutes from the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport and Dallas Love Field Airport as well as the cities of Dallas, Grapevine and Fort Worth. This property is located directly across the street from the Texas Motor Speedway and overlooks a pristine, 18-hole Jay Moorish golf course. The SCTE negotiated room rate is valid through July 30, 2010. AFTER THIS DATE ALL ROOMS WILL BE SUBJECT TO AVAILABILITY AND OFFERED AT HOTEL RACK RATE.

The Industrial Exhibition Hall will be filled with knowledgeable representatives from the most innovative companies in the telecommunication industry, ready to help you bring your company up to speed with the latest in telecommunication technology.

The 7th Annual Swelter Open, held on Wednesday, is set to tee off at 8:30 am at The Golf Club at Champions Circle. This championship-level Jay Moorish design is nestled in the midst of the rolling hills of a former cattle ranch. Make your way through a par 72 course lined with 100 year old oak and beechwood trees, winding creeks, and white limestone rock outcroppings. Following the golf tournament, vendors will have the opportunity to set up their tabletop exhibits in the Trinity Ballroom of the Dallas/Fort Worth Marriott Hotel & Golf Club. Two social events – the Evening Reception and the Pool Reception will take place this evening.

The Vendor Day and Cable-Tec Games will comprise the day on Thursday. Both events will begin at 8:00 am. Lunch will be held across the street at Texas Motor Speedway, in the Dallas Ballroom. Transportation will be provided to and from the Texas Motor Speedway. Following lunch we will head back to the hotel for the afternoon exhibits and the BIG giveaways.

The North Central Texas Chapter's 2009 Vendor Day was once again a huge success thanks to our many sponsors. The support of these sponsors helped provide hours of valuable training to our members and helped us support other chapters throughout Texas. For 2010, we have enhanced our Platinum Sponsorships, and each will have a highly visible marketing tool with your company name and/or logo which will be distributed at the events. Also included this year is 1 table registration and 1 representative registration for the vendor day.

GOLF - THE GOLF CLUB AT CHAMPIONS CIRCLE, FORT WORTH, TX

The Golf Club at Champions Circle is located at 15801Championship Pkwy. Fort Worth, TX. We will tee off on August 25 at 8:30 am. The Golf Club requests that all members and guests adhere to their dress code which includes a collared shirt, proper Bermuda length shorts and soft spike golf shoes. Lunch at TEXAS MOTOR SPEEDWAY!

The 2010 Vendor Day Lunch will be held across the street from the Dallas/Fort Worth Marriott at Texas Motor Speedway in the Dallas Ballroom. Transportation will be provided for all vendors and attendees from the hotel to the speedway.

POP-UP EXHIBITS - Any vendor who will be bringing anything other than a tabletop exhibit must contact Ace Travel Meetings for approval. We have a limited number of spaces available and we will assign these spaces on a first come, first served basis. Please note there is an additional cost of $75.00 (this fee is waived if electrical or RF is purchased). The Vendor Day floor will be monitored during setup, and all exhibits other than tabletop that have not been pre-approved will be assessed a $75.00 pop-up fee.

PARKING - The Dallas/Fort Worth Marriott offers complimentary parking around the perimeter of the hotel to all guests.

BANNERS - Should you wish to hang any sign or banner you must contact the hotel directly at 817-961-0800 to obtain approval from the Convention Services Department. If damages occur, your company will be financially responsible for replacement costs.

SHIPPING - Shipments will not be accepted more than 72 business hours prior to the event. All packages sent to the hotel must include the name of the group, name of Catering/Convention Services Manager - Gloria Mapston, date of program and number of items. $5.00 plus tax per item will be charged for all items that can be shelf stored. The fee for items such as pallets and crates will be $25.00 plus tax per item. Hotel, NCTC of the SCTE and Ace Travel House, Inc. assumes no liability for the delivery, security or condition of the packages. A shipping label is provided at www.texasscte.org. Please advise Ace Travel of shipments being sent to the hotel.

SECURITY - SCTE will not provide an overnight security guard on August 25. However, the ballroom will be locked during non-exhibiting hours.
